After each successful mission players can upgrade their skills to enable them to control their aircraft more expertly, make their aircraft more robust and select better co-pilots. The game provides plenty of variety, as players can fly 16 meticulously detailed and accurate aircraft in nearly 50 exciting missions in the seven campaigns. On October 21, 2010, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle finally comes to Japan. On August 2017, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes was unveiled during the Nintendo Direct, set for release for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. On October 28, 2020, during the Nintendo Direct Mini Partners Showcase, new, unobscured representation of gameplay was shown for No More Heroes III. On February 11, 2021, No More Heroes is released for the Amazon Luna. On February 17, 2021, during the Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that No More Heroes III will be released on August 27, 2021.
